What's a Sentence fragment? It's an incomplete sentence, a sentence that needs more detail.
To fix a sentence fragment, you must add more detail; a verb or verb phrase, you may need to attach the the fragment with the sentence before or after it, you could replace a "subordinating conjunction" word [although, because, since] with a "conjunctive adverb" word [however, therefore]. Few of many ways to correct a sentence fragment.
Examples:
~ Robert has met his long-lost daughter. Who had been searching for him over twenty years.
~ The house survived the tornado. Which clearly demonstrates that the building and zoning codes were sufficiently strict.
~ Merwin passed the exam. Although, he got the last five questions wrong.
Corrections and explanations:
~ Robert has met his long-lost daughter, who had been searching for him over twenty years.
The first sentence could be fine on its own, but the second one has no subject, making the sentence a fragment.
~ The house survived the tornado, however the building and zoning codes were sufficiently strict.
Again, the first sentence could be fine on it's own, but the second sentence is incomplete and a little unclear, making it acceptable to change the structure a bit.
~ Merwin passed the exam. Although he got the last five questions wrong, he got everything else spot on.
This is a perfect example to simply add on to the last sentence.
